The Premier Article Spinning Tool – Spin Rewriter

It has been a long time since the last time I used an article spinner for the sake of internet marketing, mostly because for a log time I was using autoblogs that needed content, and to give those autoblogs unique content, I depended on an article spinner so that articles generated for my autoblogs would be unique.

But I’m beyond all this now, and I wasn’t really that successful with my automated scheme to begin with so I hung up my article spinning belt, so to speak.

More recently, however, I have become interested in article spinners once again, however no longer for the sake of autoblogging.

I’ve discovered that article spinners can also be used to improve my search engine ranking in Google.

So I began looking around again for article spinning software and came across something called Spin Rewriter which piqued my curiosity.

Spin Rewriter

What is Spin Rewriter?

It’s a web-based software for article spinning, created by Alex Sustar, and is basically a paraphrasing tool designed specifically for marketing article while avoiding plagiarism and being penalized for having duplicate content by it is some sort of a paraphrasing tool specially made for the Google Search algorithm.

If this is the first time you’re hearing about content spinning, it is basically a method of search engine optimization in which one posts unique versions of relevant content from article directories, websites, or other backlink sources. Others also use content spinning to create unique content for their website based on another source, as I used to in my autoblogs or yore.

Typically content spinning software will convert your content into spintax form, which will look like this:

{Hey!|Hi!|Good day!} {How are you?|How’s it going?}

This sets up a variety of combinations of words like:

Hi! How are you?

Hey! How’s it going?

Good day! How are you?

Why Spin Rewriter?

I’ve used a number of different article spinners before, like Word AI, The Best Spinner, and Magic Article Rewriter, but what initially attracted me to Spin Rewriter is that it’s cloud based, meaning you don’t need to install it on your computer and can can access it from anywhere you can get an internet connection; moreover it’s quite a bit cheaper that Word AI.

Another perk is that Spin Rewriter will integrate with the SEO tool what I was already using.

Apart from the above, something else which grabbed my attention and got me to try out Spin Rewriter is their “emulated natural language” or ENL for short, which produces more readable content in terms of grammar (more on this below). But before going into this aspect in more detail, let’s take a first look at the program:

An Inside Look at Spin Rewriter

There are a number of things you can do from the dashboard of Spin Rewriter, but for starters let’s take a look at how to rewrite articles: first, simply select “Rewrite your Articles” from among the options.

From here you will be brought to the main rewriting page, and this will give you two options:
1) Rewrite a single article;
2) Rewrite multiple articles. As an example for this review let’s follow the first path, “Rewrite a single article”.

Next, if you’ve already got an article handy, you just need to copy and paste it into the text field provided by the program. If you don’t already have an article, Spin Rewriter can even help you find one by giving you 10 bonus articles taken from Big Content Search (this has a giant collection of PLR articles which can be used with this article spinner.

To make use of the latter option, you simply need to click the “Fetch a new article” link in the top left-hand corner of the article box. From here you will get a pop-up where you can enter a keyword for the kind of article you’d like to fetch. Once you’ve put in the keyword you want to search for, simply click the “Fetch articles” button.

After searching for a few moments this will give you a list of articles related to your chosen keyword, and the list should be more than sufficient for you to find something that suits your interests and/or taste. After choosing one, you just have to click “fetch this article” and then the article will appear in the article box.

So, now that you have an article, the next thing for us to look at is how to rewrite the article using the settings which seem, to me at least, to come up with the best results.

The Best Settings for Spin Rewriter

There are three stages to the setting which I will guide you through to show you the setup that I find works best for me:

Stage 1 settings

Part 1: Enable the option for Paragraph and Sentence Level Spinning. You can do this simply by toggling the button for this option to “yes” if it is not already turned on by default.

Part 2: Enable the option for changing the structure of phrases and sentences which will rewrite incomplete sentences for you. To do this simply check the box next to “I want Spin Rewriter to automatically change the entire structure of phrases and sentences.”

Part 3: Find the “Recommended” setting and select it. To do this click the “settings” link, and then find “How adventurous are you feeling” and toggle this to “only use suggestions that you believe are correct (recommended)”.

Part 4: Enable the “Multi-Level Nested Spinning” option. You will see this from the “settings” page as well.

Stage 2 settings

First, set “how many synonyms for words and phrases?” to “low risk”, as I find this avoids your spinner coming up with awkward words that make sense but don’t really fit the context. Second, check “find synonyms for single words inside spun phrases” too.

Stage 3 Settings

Finally, I like to select the option called “I want Spin Rewriter to use only synonyms and no original words whenever possible”. Again this is another way of avoiding the occasional funny word come up with randomly by the generator.

Now you are ready to generate a spun article simply by clicking on “generate a unique version”. With the settings I’ve recommended, I am able to generate articles with up to 98% originality that are very readable. They are not, unfortunately, without the occasional grammar mistake, but overall they are quite good. I didn’t run my articles through a more serious plagiarism checker like Copyscape, but the results you’ll come up with using Spin Rewriter will be more than sufficient for a tier 2 or 3 link building campaign.

The things I like most about Spin Rewriter

  • The fact that it is Cloud based and only needs an internet connection to run
  • That it integrates with SEO Tools through API. Currently I’m using RankCipher, and to link it up with Spin Rewriter all I have to do is enter my API into RankCipher. Apart from RankCipher there are other SEO tools that work with Spin Rewriter like Ultimate Demon, RankWyz, GSA Ser and many more.
  • Their partnership with Big Content Search. You get access to this through your subscription to Spin Rewriter, starting off with 10 credits that can be used for finding seed articles.
  • Readability of the articles. Although the articles are not always 100% perfect, overall I’d say the quality is the highest I’ve seen compared to similar software.

The things I don’t like about Spin Rewriter

  • Getting lifetime access is quite expensive ($497).
  • Not really good enough for your primary blog (in my opinion). Although the quality is quite good, I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable relying on Spin Rewriter for my primary blog. But if you’re willing to comb over the spun articles carefully before publishing them, then it might still work for you.

In conclusion

If you like what I’ve said, go ahead and try it out for yourself. There are three plans to choose from: $49 a month, $197 a year, or as I said $497 for lifetime access.

I guess that wraps up my review, and if you want to try it out, just click the button below. Spin Rewriter has currently 3 price points – the monthly which is priced at $49, the yearly which is priced at $197, and the lifetime license which is priced at $497. If you just want to try it out you can choose whichever plan you want because they offer a 30-day guarantee and will refund your money if you are not satisfied after the first 30 days.

Update as of 2019

Having been using Spin Rewriter for more than two years now, I have come to the conclusion that it truly is a worthwhile investment and decided to finally pay for the lifetime access today.

Although I was hesitant to pay nearly $500 at first, the continual improvements made by the company during the past 2 years is what finally won me over. It’s hard to believe that Spin Writer 9 is out already, and it really shows the developers’ dedication.

But don’t take my word for it only; try out Spin Rewriter today with 30 days without any obligation to keep your plan if you aren’t as happy with it as I have been. Honestly, though, I don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied!
